"Mismanaged" may not be the right word to describe what is going on at Imaging Diagnostic Systems Inc. For a better idea, I suggest that anyone interested file a Freedom of Information inquiry with the FDA. Ask for the results of the FDA's investigation of the company previously owned and operated by the Grables. It was called Lintronics and the "mammography" device they were selling until their company went belly up was called a "Lintroscan."

Reviewing the results of the FDA investigation will probably give you a strong sense of deja vu -- right down to Linda Grable's fondness of patient brochures with a rose on the cover!

Information about filing an FOIA with the FDA can be found on its web site fda.gov

You might also check out an article reported in the May 10, 1991 issue of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Mortality and Morbidity Weekly Report (MMWR. 1991;40:293-296). The report tells how in 1990 the Wisconsin State health dept. confisicated one of the Lintroscans sold in the U.S., which was illegally being used to screen women for breast cancer. The URL for that report is:
