PR firm supposedly dropped Apple. Sometimes it's hard to tell who dropped who...hehe.

Sam,

Excellent approach on Apple's short-term price analysis. I agree
with your assessment. Apple's broken again its yearly closing
high. The trend seems still on the upside. Today's high was near
yesterday's of $41, besides, today's low has been better than
yesterday's. It clearly indicates the stock direction. As I've
said yesterday, we probably have another week of rally before
retreating back. I love this steady movement. We have gotten a
gap up this morning that was used to fill up yesterday's sell-off
by profit-taking activity. I will carefully watch tomorrow's stock
movement based on high/low in these couple days to see if there is
any break-through.

Hope we could reach $43-$45 before an overall market correction.

Cheers,

Phil

You are one of the best traders of this stock and its options. Are you willing to give lessons? At what price did you sell the calls today and what price buy the others? I'm impressed. I was trying to do stuff and didn't.What signals are you using? Those Bollinger bands sure look tight now, don't they?

Check out ADPT, as well, in this regard.

Sam, could be I'm wrong. Did keep 10 contracts just in case. Let's wait and see. As I type this HK fell 4% with a general sell off in Asia. I did like the consolidation today but better safe than sorry when dealing with options. Rich

My last post for the day, I promise.

Sam, a while back people were saying that AAPL had resistance at 32 and then no real resistance until 42. Sure enough, even with all the good news in May we stalled out before reaching 32. And then had a month of totally spinning the wheels. But then as expectations built for MacWorld NY and quarterly results, $32 was no problem. Made the move to $38 before retracing and getting held up by the overall nasty market. I wonder if the same is happening now, where $42 will hold this time but be easily broken later? Or, as you speculate, is it holding now only to be broken next week?

What's your latest TA read after today's action? I'm still looking for at least a test of $42.

Marc
