funk,

I spent a long time discussing the bandwidth issue with the webmaster of a local ISP yesterday (bought the DIMD SII as well). Each packet of info (an order, a GIF, piece of pushed data stream) goes through at the same speed as before (28.8 on a 56K modem for me, for example). There are just more tunnels to pass data through.

Got a $32 dual monthly deal. He's letting me test their servers for free for a few days.

Absolutely correct. Who cares whether the puny little packet
gets there in 20 milliseconds or thirty. It's the download
that counts.

I was answering another comment.

Are all the Tera Nova/Southwest shops the same essentially?
Are there many of them? Why would one select MB trading vs
Equity Trading (http://www.equitytrading.com) for example?

I am on the East Coast and would prefer that those internet
packets travel the smallest physical distance to the server,
all else being equal. Do all the Tera Nova/SouthWest outfits
use the same server for RT3?

Many thanks.

Phil
