I would actually support you in some of your statements concerning attrocities commited in the name of God. There has been great evil done in the name of and with the backing of so called "Christian" organizations. You have mentioned a number of times the Spanish Inquisition. My studies have shown me that this was endorced by a religous organization spanning two or more centuries and done in the name of God. Even Jesus shares your disdain for hypocrisy in the church found in Revelation 3 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked..... 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. The last verse is often presented as reaching out to people. In the context that it was written Jesus was talking to the Christian church. Let me in! As far as preaching in other countries South Korea sends missionaries to the United States and Canada. Interesting for Christians here. Regarding you having an evil power no I know that you do not. Tremendous bitterness for one who says that he is happy but not an evil power. Quoting Matthew 12:36 regarding idle words was not meant to scare you with <<the boogey man>>. People judge us by our words and the bible says that God also judges us by our words. You claim to be happy, content, with your beliefs but that is not what you are portraying here. You are pouring out contempt and tremendous disdain for anyone expressing faith as the meaning of life and yet in the next breath you claim the forum is open. John
