Outrageous Estimates

David,

You wrote Last time round there was a run down after earnings. Could be one again if the outrageous estimates on this thread aren't met.

I'd agree that there are some rosy guesses coming from the thread. But what do you consider "outrageous estimates"? There are a few people on this thread who do a LOT of homework, have extremely accurate spreadsheets, and generally come very close to actual numbers. You'd have to read the thread regularly to know who is guessing, and who is estimating.

Did you notice that the "whisper number" site did not put up ANY "whisper number" for DELL until several people on this thread had estimated $0.51. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. But there are one or two posters on this thread who put in a lot more effort (and come a lot closer to the true numbers) than nearly any street analyst.

So, IYO, what are "outrageous estimates"? Would be interested in knowing what you consider the earnings points at which DELL will
a) run downhill, b) stay flat, c) go up.

DELLish, 3.
