Jim: Before you confuse me with a bear, the subject of HOLD recommendations has been discussed on CNBC. The anchors there said that the analysts rarely use a HOLD and that it generally means a SELL. They posited that sometimes these analysts have made BUY recommendations and are not able to say they were wrong. They gave examples of dire statements that accompany the HOLD recommendations on occasion. I guess we could compromise and call a HOLD and HOLD. LOL! Linda
