<<I think I'm going to visit my Comp USA on Saturday.>>

Bill, smile for the tv cameras! <<ggg>>

Sounds like crowds will be large and that stores that are having events will at least have some extra boxes for the walk in public.

Apple Recon actually had a good take on Cringely's figures, said they were way out of date, and forgave him for it. My read of the Macintouch snippet is that Apple has 150,000 in orders, has a 90,000 backlog, and thus, has up to 60,000 ready to go out the doors. I'd imagine a bunch are sitting in CompUSA, ComputerWare, MacZone, etc. warehouses right now.

Everything is looking good and I like tonight's pr blitz by Apple. Hope the tv ad points out that this little all-in-one marvel is faster than the fastest Pentium for ony $1299. Really puts the "but it's not $999 or less" value issue to rest, doesn't it?

Would Alomex agree?

Nice to have one's vacation paid for by AAPL profits in any case,
Marc
