Goldman has been keeping the bid up on the board the past few trading days, especially on the pull back from 39.

Goldman was also pushing the bid up on a daily basis last year as the stock ran from 30 to 55 after the April 1997 results.

Goldman has also historically crossed all insider sales for PSFT directors.

Your theory about Cohen recommending this stock after GS has acquired all they want at these prices is probably correct. I will be looking to add more tomorrow, even if it is only to hold until 40. I believe that Goldman will hold this up above 34.
