It looks like he gave the company some money and took some shares.
Possibly to pay site watch at bumbat? Perhaps someone else had the money and he had options and so he bought them and sold them.

Hey Phil, with all the rains in China maybe the Bumbat mill will get a free float ride to a more profitable location ! That seems to be our only hope at this time unless we believe Daves theory on a positive move in the share price. Regards, Farmer
