Shrewd buyers thrive

I am almost convinced low bid overtures have been made and turned down. They are holding out and continuing with announced plans. Announced plans are probably their backup plans.

Anyways, I am becoming skeptical about this plan to announce a partnership. If it was even close 1 months ago any good company would have finalized by now due to consequences of missing the wave of hype and for stockholder perception purposes.

One or the other now!!!!

Still long, pissed, and will hold for now.

Kahuna,

If these reps have already detailed all the urologists back in 1997 what more can they really say to them other than answer any questions they may have. I doubt there is a urologist out there who doesn't already know all about MUSE.

The ones who need the detailing are the PCPs. As Wilson said in the last cc, Viagra has totally changed the way ED will now be treated ie the PCP not the urologist will be the first person sought for the problem. Vivus needs the domestic partner who has a large sales force that can hit most of the PCPs in a months time. Once a PCP knows how to properly titrate and use the product domestic sales will recover. I think that it will be very interesting to see exactly how quickly the script numbers will increase if and when a partner takes over.

Kahuna,

I read this post on Yahoo today:

messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com

The numbers presented appear reasonable to me.

What is your opinion on reaching 1/4 of the Viagra failures? Is this a reasonable goal with a strong domestic partner or are we just pissing in the wind? The way I look at it, these guys already went through the ordeal of admitting to the problem and seeking help. Just how many failures do you thing are willing to try something else?
