<<The ones who need the detailing are the PCPs>>

VLAD, you simply don't understand. Viagra has forever changed the way physicians and patients think about ED. PCPs are basically diagnosticians, pill-pushers (OK I admit it) and agents for referral to specialists. That's all that insurance companies want us to do these days.

PCPs aren't interested in office titration of Muse doses anymore. All appropriate patients are first given a trial of Viagra and failure are subsequently referred to urologists for further evaluation. Trials of Viagra are therefore not only being utilized therapeutically but for their diagnostic value in screening out more severe and unresponsive forms of ED. These urologists are the ones who may start a patient on Muse these days. Most PCPs simply don't have the time anymore.
