Kemble--I have figured out a good way for Michael to increase exposure in Europe. There is an English Premier league soccer team (in the best division in England, one of 20 teams) named Southampton that plays its games in a stadium called "The DELL". I kid you not! Hewlett Packard sponsors a team named Tottenham Hot Spurs--so I think DELL should sponsor Southampton. It looks like Pony and Sanderson (who is this?) sponsor them now:
soton.ac.uk

Makes sense to me!
Jeff

PS--NO WAY DELL disappoints on Tuesday. I have bought 2 PCs from them myself this Qtr. LOL!

Kemble,
From CNBC per Megan Graham Hacket (S&P Group Analyst):
HWP:
-her est $.55
-street est $.56
-weak Asia/Pac weak PC sales
-Europe growing

DELL:
-her est $.44
-street est $.46
-not hit as much as HWP in Asia
-only 6% of sales come from Asia
-50% revenue growth
-74% w/w sales increase
-different business model (BTO/JIT)
-servers and notebook margin rich
-just starting to enter this market
-just opposite of HWP (have been in server/notebooks for long time)

Best,
Steve
