To All- Great news (in Darth Vadar's post) from the Biz Week article:

"Dell, Schoelzel says, recently approached its 50 largest corporate customers and found out that most of them plan to increase computer purchases significantly next year, partially because the last big corporate binge was in 1996 (in the wake of the release of Windows 95) and now most of that hardware has been fully depreciated. In addition, many companies are planning significant upgrades as a way of heading off Year 2000 problems."

Had anyone heard of this "survey" before? IMO, this is tremendous...

Another powerful wave Dell is riding.....

Jeff- Great idea about Dell sponsering S'Hampton....although I don't know if they've had a good team since Kevin Keegan in the early 1980's....are they even in the premier league anymore?

Jeff,
Hi!!! <<Kemble--I have figured out a good way for Michael to increase exposure in Europe. There is an English Premier league soccer team (in the best division in England, one of 20 teams) named Southampton that plays its games in a stadium called "The DELL">>

Now, there is a brilliant marketing strategy....BTW I wonder who would win?VBG
