Could be the physical therapist is just trying to get me to look at a worst-case scenario. The surgeon I saw 9 years ago said much the same thing, and I got away without letting them flay me then. Maybe the therapy will work again and I'll escape with only a good scare. I should know the answer in a couple of weeks. The problem is I can't tell when I'm doing damage, except for when I'm lugging the satchel on my shoulder. I don't think I'll be doing that anymore. I can do all my routes out of the truck, although that involves the constant twisting and stretching that may be another big part of the problem.
