Ok bulls:

1. Asfor the book business, from our friends at TMF:

A review at: esmarts.com places our beloved Amazon behind both shopping.com and b&n.com.

Blasphemers! The rest of the site looks interesting, too.

Cheers!
(Glenn and Rob you may want to add this to the laundry list of less than perfect dominance in the industry for amzn)

2. As for the other business (whatever the hell that is, since amzn clearly has no direction as of yet):

Have you seen the press releases this week. DO you think that amzn has deeper pockets and is more web savvy and has a better brand name than xcit, lcos, nscp, msft's msn, yhoo, aol and all the other e malls out there? If so, it's probably going to dominate e commerce and you should buy all you can.

Agree with both the resistance and the need for technical confirmation but I would add that I think the base may be established closer to 100-105 because I think the longer term trend will start to establish itself more fully - I am looking for declining highs and lows and the roll-over occurs. That may take a couple of weeks. My guess is that we will get a good confirmation by the end of the day.
