I guess the decline of about 60% or whatever didn't factor in the possibility of lower earnings. Well, I will definitely be selling on any rally. If EVI's management isn't bright enough to manage estimates better than this (yes, I blame them for the timing), how are they going to manage the company?

Steve, Interestingly, EVI announced that they will not miss their full year estimate by much- and it got slaughtered today. I put in a buy order @ $20/share, since elements of EVI's business such as tubing are not linked so heavily to exploration but to the more steady production side of the business- at this level EVI becomes a potential acquisition target themselves IMO... Down from around $58/share earlier this year on May 8th and after making two acquisitions in 1998- now that's what I call a correction!
