You give him that long? There was some press a couple of months ago that Charlie Sporck (how's that for a name from the past?) was getting impatient with Halla over lack of a plan, decisiveness, etc. Apparently, Charlie still has a lot of pull at National, the article said. From what I remember about Charlie, the letter p wasn't in his alphabet, much less the word patience in his vocabulary.

Do you know who is going to replace him ? I would
suggest Jim Mcmannis. Over the AMD thread, he
has come up a formula which allows him to make
28% profit by selling MediaGX based system at $399.

Now, this would help NSM off-load all their
MediaGX(may be at a profit), sure worth the
position of a CEO. In addition, he has
the experience as a CEO.
