NO NO NO..Ok let's look at

Media one offering $40 month = High speed + access BUT you still have to pay for a friggin phone = $20. That's $60 month

With DSL

$60 month(bellsouth, Bell Atlantic, US west) = High Speed + Access + phone + Fax(if you want it)

In two weeks we get ADSL (bellsouth) in my office. Six work stations
on an NT network connected to a ADSL router. This will allow us to share 1.5mb, "always on". Each user with an address. In the few months our sister office 600miles away will be connected to what amounts to a LAN zipping instant emails. We planning on throwing the phone away.

What it cost us

200 router
99 installation
$60 month for the ADSL (the ADSL is replacing an analog dail up line which cost $30, so the ADSL is really costing $30)

Cable had a free ride. This is the bottom of the 1st
