Joe, as you know I am in the industry and no friend of SDRC, PTC or Autodesk. Never the less, my information is that the US market for CAD may be skiddish right now. Lots of worry about a worldwide meltdown will keep a lid on spending for CAD/CAM and especially PDM, which I believe is still a luxury in many companies.

When you factor into the mix the real problems in Asia, this group will not be robust for a while, if I'm right. The time to invest in companies like SDRC (if you believe in them) is right before someone can see the light at the other end of the tunnel. Here is a case where even if your bullish on a company in this market (like me and DASTY- although I don't invest in the industry I work in) now is probably not a good time to be in this segment at all.
