Regarding:"Since then they have made improvements in every area. they will announce a VP of sales for Europe.
Company said that revenue will increase in both Q3 and Q4 over last year and over the 1st half of this year."
So why is it sinking?"

IMHO it is suffering mainly from the lack of Fund interest. Why ?
1. They have long memories and are still taking a wait and see attitude re the "New Informix".
2. For most of 1997, the Funds have been focused on the Big Caps going after perceived quality
3. The DB market is perceived as slow growth
4. Informix is not perceived as a key player in the big growth areas like he Internet/ E-commerce space or Data warehousing. Note: Bob F. is working hard to change that.
5. The consolidated law suit is still hanging around and no one knows what the financial impact will be (not critical, but a negative when # 1-4 above are considered).

So..... Bob F. knows and said at the Shareholder meeting that he has to grow the top line, focus on growth areas like DW and E-commerce, and grow he consulting / professional services side. The recent reorg puts meat behind his words. However, the bottom line will continue to be show significant top line growth and profitability. Then the stock will rapidly ascend.

By the way, I believe Bob F. will pull this off. He is very smart and ethical. I am long on Informix.
