Dear Bird, there is an inherent flaw in your assumption since, it's my understanding that the gateways have been tested individually in each of the contract countries to prove their ability to use the current infrastructure in each of the respective countires. The beauty is that it already works on their PSTN systems. There is little need for "infrastructure" build up except to INCREASE capacity therefore, increase use, therefore increase revenue, the bulk of which, is being built by the respective governments. Witness the $25-Million(+) that the German, govt. is going to put into this build-up. As far as Satellites go, you must have missed the fact that we are partners with INDOSAT...I suggest you look them up. I also think it is Very Important to not only look at what but, also WHERE is Key...To boldly go where no large telco has been able to go before. Take note that many have tried to get licenses in Indonesia..even Motorola, who has thus far been unsuccessful where DGIV has been very successful...Licenses + a Telephone company Aquisition. As more deregulation takes place in "other" countries you may possibly find out at some later date, yes, DGIV, has been there too. I am confident that the more you see from DGIV and the more you learn about the true scope of IP-TELEPHONY, you may come to understand why AT+T, BT, BLS, GTE, WCOM/MCI, SPRINT, NYNEX, QWEST, IDTC et.al. are running headlong into IP-TELEPHONY. It's not just voice it's so much more, fax, data, multimedia and the Revenues are in the $BILLIONS. He who controls the licenses and country contracts, controls the traffic and those same $BILLIONS in REVENUES... Any company with that type of Toehold in however many countries, won't remain autonomous very long because, the Giants of the Industry Must and will have a piece of the action by any means necessary... r1 more later this weekend......
