Thanks for that reference - it's a good review (but has some minor factual errors).

Those that bash the Slot 1 interface - AMD and Cyrix - do so because they do not participate in the high performance multiprocessor space.

They will have to adopt some approach to high speed busses should they decide to enter that market.

Otherwise, they will be happy in the "Socket 7 Forever" space - as long as that lasts.
