Bill, thanks for your response.

I think however I'll still steer clear of this one. OTC BB stuff has a tendency to be hyped and overblown, with more than a reasonable amount of scams and ripoffs (I am not stating that about this stock -- don't have enough information to form such a judgement).

If I were to play in this market sector (which is actually quite interesting), I think I would stay with the stocks of established organizations on the major exchanges. Some risk, sure. Possibly lower return if the BB OTC stock turns out to be a true find. But this one appears to be a case of a junior playing off the success of more established firms working on the more established exchanges. I'll look there first!

Mark Buckshon - New Poster Here!

I'm not affiliated with the Company in any way. I have been familiar with the Company for some years now. But not Pan American Motorsports. Rather, Big Pony Gold. The Company Pan American Motorsports used to be.

Brett Decker - President of Pan American Motorsports, works for another Company called Gold Standard Inc. Mr. Decker hosts what is known as the Information Line. On or about the 15th of each month, Mr. Decker records a message regarding events and happenings with Gold Standard (used to own 65%+ of Big Pony Gold).

I have followed Gold Standard for several years and although I have never spoken with Mr. Decker, I have listened to him via these recorded updates for over 30 recordings. I have recorded each update and compare and contrast these updates in an effort to stay better informed regarding matters with Gold Standard. I have noticed a tendency toward being enthusiastic (hyping) at times. But by far and more the most part, these recorded updates have been both fair and informative.

The next recorded update is schedueled for August 17, 5pm MST.

I want it noted that I'm not hyping shares in Gold Standard. Simply providing some information on Mr. Decker.

Another interesting side note on Mr. Decker is that he has raced in the AIS. If persons were to review the 1997 AIS Point Standings, they will find Mr. Decker ranked 8th with 55 points. In regards to Team Point Standings, they will find Vision/Decker ranked 9th with 54 points.

Why is this interesting? Because I am/was a shareholder of Big Pony Gold. I purchased 1000 shares some time back when there was a lawsuit outstanding with Gold Standard. A jury had awarded Gold Standard $400+ million in compensatory and punitive damages where the trial judge overseeing the case reversed the jury findings on the grounds that Gold Standard failed to prove that it had been defrauded. Matters went on appeal where some years later (late 1996), the case was pending before the Supreme Court of Utah. While researching Gold Standard, it was discovered that they had a publicly traded subsidary called Big Pony Gold that was 67% owned by Gold Standard at the time). Unwilling to buy additional shares of Gold Standard (stock was trading $6+ in anticipation of a favorable ruling), I opted to buy 1000 shares into Big Pony Gold. The contention being that if the parent Company obtained a favorable ruling. Well, its subsidiaries would benefit as well.

As matters turned out, the Supreme Court of Utah dismissed the lawsuit and with no further recourse. Gold Standard declined to $1.00 per share where shares of Big Pony Gold remained unchanged on the news. Big Pony Gold later under went a reverse stock split where my 1000 shares turned into 334 shares. I took possession of the certificate and have been looking at it ever since. Gold Standard, meanwhile, recieved some attention in late 1997 as to a possible gold discovery. However, the drilling program failed to produce any meaningful gold deposits. Gold Standard than underwent a 1 for 4 reverse stock split where it currently trades less than $1.00 today.

In regards to Big Pony Gold, they underwent due dilligence and approached the Vancuver Exchange as to a secondary offering of shares. The next thing I know, they are going to buy a 70% interest into the American IndyCar Series and change its name to Pan American Motorsports. Then on May 14, and in a press release, it was discovered that Pan American Motorsports aquired a 100% interest as opposed to a 70% interest. What was the connection I asked myself?

The connection is Brett Decker. Mr. Decker was involved with the AIS as a driver and part team owner. As such, he was fully aware of the American IndyCar Series. Otherwise, how does a gold exploration Company divest itself to enter into motorsports?

To make a long story short, Pan American Motorsports is "not" a new Company. They are a re-invented old Company that used to be Big Pony Gold. I'm a shareholder in both Gold Standard and Big Pony Gold (now Pan american Motorsports). I have been following Gold Standard for years. I started the message board on AOL regarding both Gold Standard and Pan American Motorsports. If anyone is able to get to AOL, please feel free to check out my posts there.

More in next post!
