Hiram - Sounds as though HLIT is participating in 3 major TCI upgrades in Washington State. Those are Vancouver, Tacoma and now, Seattle. The article posted by Frank on the "Last Mile" thread says "TCI has awarded stand-alone projects that combine 1550-nm technology and DWDM to Harmonic Lightwaves and Antec for cable systems in Vancouver and Seattle." Who supplies the transmitters and Who supplies the DWDM? As a resident of the Puget Sound area, I am glad to see the build out of the network. This should stir up some interest by GTE and US West, the incumbent carriers in this area. Ken
