Kurt, you are right about there having to be a pretty decent reason for a continuance, (at least after the first 2 or 3), but I do not know whether or not that is the case in Bahamian courts. I would think that even though it is a Bahamian case, much of the evidence, etc. is also in the USA. That should be good for 3-4 delays in itself. Also, there could be scheduling problems, etc. I am just not sure what priority Bahamian courts put on cases that are international in nature.

Time is the real element here. The quote of Bender's that you cited is exactly what these guys are hoping for. They want us to all forget about it and move on. A lot of people have already done just that.

People always work so hard for money. Then, when they get to the end of their lives, they realize it. It's not money, it's time that is the valuable thing. It's the one thing that can never be altered by the human hand.

These guys know how valuable time is, and they more of it they can buy, the better off they are.

jmo,
Binder

There is in MHO only one very slim chance for the shareholders. If the judge looks at the millions of dollars involved in this mess, it is possible he could award any monies available to the shareholders.

If that were to happen the first shareholders in line is the preferred shareholder. That is not exactly a win-win solution for everyone. Many of us held some of each, ie. Preferred, common and warrants.

I would hope nothing would be awarded to Midland; unless strict guide lines were put into place.

All officers and board members currently connected to the company should to be dismissed and replaced with competent replacements.

We need NEW blood that can and will breath new life in this company.
This would do wonders in restoring creditability to the company and restoring faith in the shareholders.

I don't hold much hope in the above scenario; for some reason or another "crime seems to pay, in the USA." JMO

We will most likely see little more than a slap on the wrist. Then it will be back to business as usual. I pray not!

May justice and truth prevail,

Dusty

Anybody know if Fisher (or his representive) even show up to court on Monday???

Is the case still going on?? continuance???? or finished???

Is there a date set for the US case in Denver??

An 8-k would be nice about now, followed by that 10-k.

Kurt
