Dusty,
Good post, except I would elaborate one sentence just a little bit...

IMO, the first ones to get paid will be the brokerage houses that got nailed with this, the lawyers, the IRS, the administration fees for the LT and then if there is anything else left the shareholders may see something. I don't know if preferred would be a factor or not, unless all of this happened before October.

jmo,
Binder

May justice and truth prevail

Speaking of that, here are my wants for this stock in the coming month:

1) Get the MIDLP split shares which I deserve
2) Get some value back in this company and my shares (even if it is a Greek shipping company which has been passed like a hot potato from MIDL to CNHH back to MIDL....wonder why?)
3) Have justice and truth prevail......I want everyone who was involved in this "scam" (the BF steal and run to bahamas deal) to not only be exposed, but also get what they deserve

Boob....even if 2 out of 3 of these come true, I would be one happy man

BTW I would doubt very much if any shareholders (even the P) came out with a cent after this whole mess has cleared....could happen, but I have my doubts

Explain to me who you think gets the money from the liquidating trust???

Anybody who has following this stock should know that the answer is Midland shareholders (MIDLP/MIDL) and that the company gets nothing (with the exception of unsold stock being returned).

Everything in the liquidating trust gets distributed to the shareholders.

I know that you knew the answer (at one point in time) and you must have simply forgot it.

>>There is in MHO only one very slim chance for the shareholders. If the judge looks at the millions of dollars involved in this mess, it is possible he could award any monies available to the shareholders.

If that were to happen the first shareholders in line is the preferred shareholder. That is not exactly a win-win solution for everyone. Many of us held some of each, ie. Preferred, common and warrants.

I would hope nothing would be awarded to Midland; unless strict guide lines were put into place.<<
