I would expect a techie, which you are, Jon, to be forever critical of technical things. After all, whose gonna come out with the next best thing? And isn't someone working on something better than that?

But since we're still in the throes of Information Age and not yet deep enough embroiled in the Biological Age, I wouldn't worry too, too much about the relvance of Sesame Ad technology just now. Maybe down the road, but not now.

And that's why, I think, we see Proctor & Gamble's advertising (biggest advertiser of them all) among the first of Sesame Ad's demonstrative clients. You can't really quibble with P&G now, can you? And I suspect that pretty soon the quibbling over Zulu will end as well.

Recognizing the obvious is sometimes difficult. I think the requirements of the Patent Office require a "novel idea".

Ask Albert Einstien. Oh I forgot, he works for Microsoft now.

So, "while you wait technology" is really nothing more than using the good sense to design a web page that has content that will keep you busy while you are waiting for the download.

So the idea is that I can read the useful content that I actually came to the site for while waiting for my Java VM to fire up and show me a GIF ad? :)
