The UK is furthest along in the recession cycle of Western economies. Hence strong growth in computer expenditures is less likely than you might think. The recovery in the rest of Europe doesn't look that robust either. Asian probs will be their lowest there but that doesn't mean they are isolated from the World economy.

Sure. The bears like me and I think Lucretius think DELLs price is coming down not because of any problems at DELL computer but because the asset price bubble is deflating and in the last year Dell's price has lost touch with reality along with the Yahoos and Amazons of this world.
