I think, I understand it now, but it would have been alot easier if TLC used the words net income on the op stmt.

why don't they, if this is true?

this will make a big difference in my opinion, and could make me go long!

What's the matter, Paul? You said you understood it. Are you confused again now?

I've gotta take the middle of the road approach that Trader Dave appears to be supporting.

Paul - Either produce verifiable proof of your fraud allegations or shut up, please! Lee, Bain and Co. have much better access to the internal finances of the company and if you think they are being fooled by accounting gimmicks then you deserve the financial hurt that this company has heaped upon you. Please remember that as having representatives on the Board of Directors, they are directly liable to shareholders for any fraud that might occur.

Thomas - your hope for higher prices coming out of a sale of Cendant Software is a pipe dream! At best we could hope for a reduction in the rebate program and that is already happening.

Excuse the following question but does anyone know what a $50 Savings Bond costs? Is it face value ($50) or a discounted face value (ie. pay $35 now and in 5 years get $50)?

BTW: Was watching TV this evening and saw a commercial for Cendant's Jumpstart series of educational software products. Good commerical and placed in the middle of the network premiere movie, "The American President".
