Hi Richard!

You're right that MSWIN has more possibilities for exploring BUT i find it extremely convenient to set up a scan profile in QP and then let them run one after the other while i have dinner or do something else. In MSWIN i have to start each scan manually which is a real drag. Then there is the problem that i can scroll through the list in Q+ but not through the scan results in MSWIN. That is all known! I wish that MSWIN had the speed and the scroll feature that Q+ offers. In the end i run simple scans in QP and more complicated ones in MSWIN. It would be great to just do it in one program.

Stefan

Does anyone know the formula for the Advance-Decline line, or could someone point me to a previous post containing the calculation? Many thanks.

Richard,

I have come around to your way of thinking on this. At first I thought I had to have every symbol ready in a MS directory so I could pull up anything that came to mind. After only a few weeks, I have found that I don't need that at all.

I've settled on a few scans that I currently like (always on the alert for something new) and they populate "temporary" directories, which I can peruse until I tire of them. Sometimes, I come up with a stock I want to continue to follow and I just place it in a more permanent directory.

So far, this is simplicity itself... and fast!

Ken
