It's time for some eastern style meditiation on this whole internet thing:

Ooommmm . . . Ooommm . . .

Just let your mind drift and let all the changes that are occurring in internet development wash over you . . . observe the turbulence without judgement . . . just let it create it's being in the universe of causality . . . drifting in the void of timeless now-being . . .

Ooommm . . .

I perceive an unfolding of awareness entwined with this new technology and socio-economic state-of-being . . . greater diversity . . . pervasive . . . chain reaction . . . non-hiearchical modalities . . . everywhere . . everywhere . . .

-------------

Ahhh . . that was refreshing and much has been revealed: I envision a more "organic" future of the internet than dominance by just a few market leaders. Ideas and capabilities rippling rapedly, much more rapidly than any technology or commercial change than the world has ever seen- far greater and more rapid change than earlier technological events such as harnessing fire, the city-state, the printing press, the telegraph & telephone, radio and TV. Will Amazon.com be around to participate? Maybe if they meet the competitive and financial stresses. Will just a handfull of companies dominate commerce - Ha! not as revealed to me by the divine wisdom of my crystal ball and tarrot cards!
