The question is, do Henry's posts themselves hype or "spin" Ligand? I have found them to be reasonable and informative. The stock has gone into the mud, but that doesn't make Henry a hype, it just makes him wrong (and some others right, but even a stopped clock is right twice a day) about the stock price. I don't recall anyone complaining that Henry was hyping Ligand in February or March, and the tone and general content of his posts haven't changed since then.

****OT****Michael - I respect your opinion, and it's about the internet to disagree in a civil manner, which it appears we're accomplishing here. In one of my prior posts, I also stated that having a positive opinion of LGND science is totally appropriate.
I am not blaming him for the price of LGND, but rather feel his spinning of stock action may in fact do a disservice to the story, as there are people who not only do not buy in, but are turned off by his spin.
My point in regard to "our most famous naysayer" is the more that he is shown attention (check out the Yahoo board and the clutter there), the more is his incentive to go on the offensive. And, he's obviously given plenty of incentives.
