Greg RE: sell off after earnings...

Dell may well sell off after Wednesday. However, one must assume the "many stock sell offs following earnings" you refer to could concievably have been caused all or in part by mkt conditions and behaviors of certain sectors.

i dont want Dell to sell of for two reasons:
1) Im still way down on my Sept 120's, although gaining.

2) I dont want the MM's to win. They win (more) if the stock sells off and people like me, the little guy, get caught up in the selling. Of course the sell off doesnt really hurt the longs.

re:I'll be surprised DELL doesn't sell off after earnings

IMO, looks like a nice day for a calendar spread. Example:

Long 8 Sep 115 Call
Short 8 Aug 115 Call
For debit of 5 3/4 or less

........or,

Long 10 Sep 110 Call
Short 10 Aug 110 Call
For debit of 5 or less

Just an opinion.
