Totally agree, I've been hearing this small cap breakout scenario for 3 years now.....I'll believe it when I see it. Funds demand liquidity. bp

Uh-huh..Uh-huh...<head-nodding>

I feel absolutely schizophrenic. Own SAP, MSFT, INTC and then find myself hunting for "opportunities" that last from 10 minutes to 5 days tops. Tried to explain my investing philosophy to someone and they had to take them away in a straitjacket.

Now, I'm sure I've earned your confidence in my views....LOL

Pretty soon we shall see tax selling (beginning in October if not sooner) and the loser small caps (such as MANU and the likes) will get hit again.

They may revive--but not until the first half of 1999.

Of course you are right, the big caps are where the action is, and they represent the vast majority of my holdings. Probably I would have been better of to have all of my investments in big caps, but small caps still present a few opportunities. I did well on my CTXS , and I'm still showing a profit in SEBL.
