I've yet to see anyone demonstrate a correlation between the price of gold and Bill's pants except that they both seem to be dropping. I do admit it is conceivable (though unlikely)that his impeachment (should it ever someday in the distant future come to that) would affect the POG but I don't see how this endless prissy tsk tsking on this thread contributes ANYTHING to understanding how gold might react. Perhaps you could enlighten me as to how exactly the price of gold would react. I'm utterly bored with the American obsession with what Bill did with his semen and what he did or didn't say about it and frankly I simply don't have the time in my busy schedule to read all these pointless, moralising, holier-than-thou, politically inspired messages. I am sure there are places on the Internet that welcome this stuff. Surely the GOLD PRICE Monitor is not one of them? This is an internal political matter of interest only to you Americans. The rest of us couldn't care less. I guess you're right. I still don't get it. Nor do I want to.
