Oh geez Craig, even after write off's CISCO earnings are still great....and yes, still better than DELL's for whatever it's worth. I don't really care. DELL is a distribution company which has little barrier to entry. Gateway, Compaq, Packard Bell, IBM, are figuring out this model. Furthermore the market for new computers doesn't show the same promise as the market for continued network build-out IMO. So, OK. Dell had a great quarter and is looking strong. The are a great company. I fail to see how this affects CSCO other than to help our stock price tomorrow since most investors haven't a clue how the PC/Server Market effects the networking market. Is it a leading indicator? Hmmmm, now that's an interesting thing to think about. More PC's/Servers mean more users connected to the network meaning more need for bandwidth meaning more networking equipment sales. So... all I have to say is GO DELL!!!

All that being said I think Cisco has a better chance of sustaining their growth in their market than Dell has in theirs. But here we are comparing apples and oranges.
