Penni, the county has designated two schools for gifted children in the Kindegarden through 6th grade level. It's taught with the same methodology that the Montessori schools use. All kids intermingled in the same atmosphere learning from one-another. Unfortunately only two of the 18 kids (we know of) from his previous Montessori school will be joining him there.

He's only starting Kindegarden Penni. :-) Pretty funny to be talking about it like it's Stanford or something! But hey! That's $250.00 a month I can now save for Stanford one day. :-)

Yes, we really try and read at least 4 books a night to both of them Penni. Usually swapping back and forth. The testing instructor was amazed at his verbal skills. I think your right, it has a lot to do with reading, but also I believe them having their own computer with all these wonderful kids interactive learning games has helped a lot too. Some of those games from Microsoft are amazing! I just love the Magic school buss series.
