Ibexx and others: Listen to the complete conference call replay. You will clearly increase your confidence in DELL -- a UNIQUE global technology powerhouse. Michael Dell and Tom Meredith addressed the analyst questions well.

DELL is innovating aggressively and is focused (like a laser beam) on constant and never ending improvement. They are expanding their business and improving their business in some incredible ways.

Don't underestimate DELL's upside potential going forward. It is a great Long Term Investment. I will not start to sell my DELL shares until the fundamentals change -- and they seem to be improving.

Some exciting things to consider...

-DELL's "continuous flow manufac. initiative" -- rolling out worldwide.

-DELL has a 217% return on invested capital -- more than 5 times the nearest competitor.

-MD discussed the significant effort to expand the market for fully featured PCs (w/DSL capability). He sees this as a huge opportunity full DELL in the future.

-DELL has a #1 priority of investing in great people. They are executing in this area and intellectual capital is key.

-DELL's internet efforts are increasing in significance all of the time. From 1M to 6M/day in sales in one year. There is a major new campaign to use the net aggressively to further the DELL service efforts -- provide higher quality service at a much lower cost.

I may provide more thoughts later.

DELL is an unusual stock indeed. This company has visionary management that can continually rise to the occasion. I buy and hold quality stocks and dell clearly deserves a lot of my support.

I'm starting to agree with Kemble's wonderful statement:

"DELL is the next DELL."

Sleep well everyone.

-Scott

On ' cerebral ' strategies,'po-folks' and Dellflection point.

Very glad to hear about your 'cerebral' startegies and other profound thoughts on DELL particularly the bit about 'Dell lacks a long term strategy' or something similar and I am sure you are quite impressed by all this strategies of yours but you don't mind some of us 'po-folks' and simpletons who are less cerebral make a few bucks (if we haven't already-heeeee Haw) with Dell now do you???? Oh by the way our strategies are based on a thing called 'Dellflection' point not quite elegant as Andy Grove's 'inflection point' but we like the money.<VBG>
