Re: Recent activity on ALYD

This is a summary of events that contributed to both the recent fall and rapid recovery of ALYD's stock.... I think <ggg>

Several weeks ago a fund manager that followed ALYD left the company where he was working and moved on to another opportunity. He left behind a portfolio containing approximately 600,000 shares of ALYD. The portfolio was inherited by a new fund manager that:

1) Does not follow Y2K
2) could care less about ALYD
3) wanted to sell out of ALYD as fast as possible

Several of us had been speculating that this was the case even though the new fund manager denied that he was a seller as recently as a week or so ago.

However, with some old fashioned sleuthing, it came to the attention of the FOAs (friends of Alydaar) late on Friday that this new manager was in fact dumping his stock into the marketplace. What to do?

Over the weekend I spoke with a number of significant ALYD shareholders to build up enough buying support to help clean this guy out.... Monday morning we began buying up the stock.

I was surprised and delighted when ALYD's CEO has stepped in to help out his shareholders.

I am happy to report that it appears that the seller was put to bed today (I hope) and now we can deal with the short sellers.... <ggg> The buying will continue....

The shorts better cover while they still have a chance.....

P.S. This post contains some facts, a little speculation, and some down right guessing.... except for the part about what is going to happen to 1 million shorts.

P.P.S. How dumb is that fund manager going to feel after Labor Day? ;)
