This is why I think it is more important to look at per capita gdp rather than population size in these countries. One good thing for muse in a country like China or Russia is that the disparity between the richest and poorest is very dramatic. In Russia this rich sector, where the money is concentrated, is quite large and they could afford it, the rest could not.

If Vivus want to sell muse to Bangladeshi peasants they need to sell it for 5 cents or less.
