Gene - Re: "Classy ad, and the early reviews are they are accomplishing this goal."

Apple's iMAC's were sitting 12 boxes per pallet with about a dozen pallets at the local Fry's in Sunnyvale.

They were moving slowly.

At the end of Saturday afternoon, they iMAC pallets were being wheeled out into a truck - to be shipped to other stores. I think Apple reps requested this since the huge unsold inventory looked very embarrassing as the "Evangelists" were trying to convert the shoeless masses.

Don't believe all the "early reviews" - remember, the new owners haven't had time to use them very much.

However, the iMAC is good for one thing.

It's another stick you could swing, along with your "AMD/Cyrix sub $1000 PCs are gonna kill Intel".

Keep praying.

Paul

Gene, Re: and the early reviews are they are accomplishing this goal.

Did these reviews define what is their goal ? Is selling
one iMac to one non-pc household good enough to be defined
as goal achieved ?
