Per my system, now would be an OK entry for the long side. 1105.50. It will change by the time I finish this message, and I would not take the trade....too close to the 20 period ma. However, the TRIN has been going up and the PREM down, the TICK just reversed to the upside. I like that type of entry as it indicates that the current price might be the low (TRIN rising and should reverse and the PREM is low indicating the move is probably up as they tack PREM back on). I would expect the move to the 1108 area which is the 200 period ma on the 1 minute bar chart. Would exit on a sharp spike upwards that would give me in the range of 1.75 to 2.25 points.

Let's see what happens/happened (while I typed)! :)

PS - It took me two minutes to enter this.

EDIT - At this point I would exit....PREM falling, TICK falling, TRIN rising, below 12 period ma on the one minute bar chart. 1105.75 on exit.

However, remember I would not have taken this one anyway...too close to the ma.

I suppose if I had to pick, and I guess I did, I would have said up.

But it's petering out faster than I thought. Market seems exhausted after the past 2 days. I think it has to challenge that 09 level from early this morning or else it will languish for a couple of days. The expiration pressures just don't appear to be there, according to McMillan.
