LoD,
Here is a serious question,

DELL is now touting itself as the #1 pc co in the Americas.

1)How do you think the stock will react next Q when DELL falls back to #2?

The reason I expect this to happen is: CPQ is #1, but CPQ did not ship at least 4 weeks worth of sales into the channel because of its effort to reduce channel inventories. (I hope we can agree on this)
Well, CPQ may stuff a little if for anything just to make sure that CPQ is stated as the #1 PC co in NA again. I don't know they will do this, it is speculation on my part only. I would if I were them.

2) DELL talked about their AP growth, 38% Y/Y. MD himself talked / bragged about how well they are doing there and that the slow down is not impacting them.
However, DELL's AP sales were up 34% Y/Y, yet they were down 15 million sequentially to 259 million or down about 5 1/2% sequentially.
It is starting to look like the AP region is not going to re-accelerate soon, so this trend may (Key word here "May") continue.
this will make Y/Y numbers going forward tougher.
Europe also was flat sequentially. This "May" cause a similar concern going forward.

Do you think these points are revelent to DELL's share price and / or could it have an impact going forward?

This is not meant to be a negative. This is the only cause for concern going forward that I can find, other than valuation which we all know has no bearing or meaning at this point. Valuation will only become important if the stock were to ever break down. An unlikely event at this point.
