I too would be embarrassed to admit an affair by telling my wife and the American public in January.

That's not the point. Starr's Tar Game could not find anything illegal about Clinton so he had to get personal. Few Americans could pass his test.

Clinton remains popular because he is a mirror of America in the 20th Century. We get the government we deserve.
