You would be amazed at how often the decisions that are right for the American people are also the most politically expedient. Whether Clinton was fixing the economy, taking on the NRA, stressing the importance of education, ensuring that children are immunized, etc. for his own political gain or for the greater good, either way it would be hard to argue that you are not better off because of his policies (even if he does lie about things that are none of the American public's business).

By the way, if he lied under oath, or obstructed justice, he should be impeached.
