"Fixing the economy".

That's baby talk. The brief recession was over in early 1992. The only thing he did was to raise taxes, (after having LIED throughout the campaign where he had promised a tax CUT), which slowed the economy and has been since revealed as clearly unnecessary. Clinton fought both the balanced budget and welfare reform and only gave in when he lost Congress and wanted to be re-elected.

Clinton will live forever as an object of ridicule. The most indicted and most convicted sleazefest in history. Better "fix", i.e. sanitize, that resume.

>>Decisions that are right for the American people are also the most politically expedient.<<

I think you boss got that one reversed....

So you say your boss "fixed" the economy? Well, yeah, I guess he did re-appoint Alan Greenspan....

Took on the NRA? Are you referring to the Brady Bill? I'm sure the gun-toting criminals follow that law to the letter....

Ensuring that children are immunized? Ah, yes, the children. So it was Mr. Clinton that made that possible? Please inform the thread which children in this country did not have immunizations available to them before his tenure....

I think I'll be the person to decide whether I am better off as a result of "his policies".....Thanks to his 93 tax increase, my tax return doesn't reflect a "better off" state, imo.

BTW, if he used the WH and his position of authority to commit sexual acts with a government intern, he deserves to be impeached. If he committed perjury or obstruction, he deserves jail time.

Have you considered consulting a lawyer?

How is it that a co-worker intern gets the top PR assistant job at the Pentagon? How is it she gets the POTUS to arrange a six figure job for her at Revlon? I think you have legal grounds to object. Think of how much you could get out of this.

Go for it!

Clinton has been a poor president because he has failed to take on the critical issues of our day. Ten years from now we will see the true folly of Clinton's administration. He has done nothing to reform the terrible problems we have with entitlements. He has systematically weakened our national defense, including anti-terrorism programs. He has granted environmental waivers that destroyed great amounts of conservation lands. He has totally neglected regulation in critical infrastructure industries. He has initiated wasteful spending programs of no benefit that perpetuate well into next century. He has weakened the justice department, immigration laws, and enforcement programs. He has severed our relations with critical foreign powers, especially the nations of the former USSR. He has neglected our education infrastructure.

Now add the social, moral, leadership, judgment and criminal issues.

He has been a horrendous President.

Political wonks in Washington (whatever their stripe) think that "they" can fix the economy! This must be a joke. The only thing politicos can do is damage the economy. The US economy has been growing not because of them but, in spite of them.

As for NRA, why are the crime and homicide rates (gun control territory) compared with Northern Virginia (concelead weapons state)?
What happened to the presidential waiver for 100,000 Chinese AK-47s of which 2,000 were fully automatic and about to be smuggled LA gangs.
The Fed sting was blown by "unnamed sources" in Washington.

John Doe

I want to make something clear. The NRA is taking on Clinton. He is solely responsible for escalating the gun control laws in this country these past 6 years. The NRA was happy to exist preaching safety, teaching classes, and sponsoring shooting events until the most anti-gun president ever was elected. The man has no respect for the second amendment and abuses his powers wherever he can where guns are concerned. The things he has done to importers is illegal but they have no voice or ear to complain to.

Clinton started the fight with the NRA & gunowners. You can say the "NRA" as an organization but it is really people like me who despise Clintons views and have nothing but disdain for his blatant abuse of the constitution.
