The Security System was installed because of actual threats against his family from the terrorist organizations he had been instrumental in thwarting in the Achille Lauro and several other incidents. The system was installed because of a recommendation emanating from information gathered by our intelligence organizations. Really, is $20,000 too much to ask for the protection of a patriot's family?

hmmm.. like I said.. I really don't know the WHOLE story on what
happened.. I'm only 23... I said that he had done some things wrong... and I didn't say that it was RIGHT that he was not put in jail.. I simply said that I thought that those in the defense department pulled some strings... was that RIGHT??? NO, he should have been convicted if truly guilty...

what I do know is that we should all be held accountable for our actions... if he was let go and broke the law... and did it of his own free will... and politically was not blackmailed into it with pressure from the white house ... then yes, he should have gone to jail...

anyways not sure who got off on a tangent with Ollie... but the issue remains the same... people that are public officials and that have influence or are on the stage... those people TRULY have got to be sure to keep their lives in order... I don't expect them to be perfect... simply that I think that those people will be more accountable.. maybe I'm not saying it right...

but let's put it this way.... does John Roffer in Boise Idaho.. some little apartment with some woman having an affiar have a more destructive impact on this country's as well as others' population since the media keeps track of what the US does worldwide..
or would you say that the President of the U.S. or any other well publicized person more destructive...

people look up to these offices and if you don't have your personal life in order.. DONT accept the job...

Clinton knew when he ran for governor that he was a sex addict.. he probably knows it now... if he doesn't label himself an "addict" .. surely he knows he "just can't stop"... he shouldn't have taken the job... and now that he has... he needs to do the right thing and resign... no addict with his track record and relunctancy to get help can properly run this country and make the decision necessary..

Clinton is one man... if he leaves... the US will not become a 3rd world country... we will not sink into a depression.. heck, we might even be better off... maybe someone will put a stop to abortion and lives will actually be saved.. imagine that!
