I read the review. He still misses a few main points. I went to the gala opening at CompUSA.

The single iMAC had 30 people around it. They should have had 5 open for display.

The rep was knowledgeable and honest. He told me right off that it was a entry level MAC. Here were the problems:

1) No floppy.

2) iMAC comes with USB bus only (No SCSI). This is incompatible with all other MACs and there are few items that are made for USB. Maybe a year from now a lot will exist but you are buying now.

3) No second monitor support.

4) No card slots.

5) A undersized keyboard that will kill your fingers in 15 minutes.

Good Points:
1) It is cheap.

2) It is reasonably fast.

3) It has a $100 million hype machine ready to roll.
