Thanks Bob I needed that :-) I was totally unaware that Chuck had already done a 32-bit chip. I know that he is presently working on a 20-bit model, for whatever reason I don't know. With this new information, I'm taking a strong interest in that chip, but not for imbedded systems: rather for what I call a Think Server, one in which my program The Scholar's Companion can reside in a box of its own on a network. I might even go back to my original Forth version of the program. Thanks again. Jack
