Just joined in. I think it may be options related to a minor extent, but more because everybody is now expecting a pop and a slide next week. Some of them may be jumping the gun here. Favors was waiting for a big pop that never happened, and he recanted later that maybe it was a mistake not to have taken an initial position any way.

Most traders must have already squared their options postions or rolled them over and that is why we saw the pop earlier in the week. JMO

EDIT : just look at the SPX on the hourly. It is begging to hit 1060 again. Whether it happens fast or slow is the question.
